  • 1 Writing to the school for any reason, including to raise a concern.
  • 2Whenever you write to the school about your ward, always quote his/her name, class/section.
  • 3Letters to the school regarding concerns or suggestions or seeking any kind of guidance should be hand-delivered or given to one of our bus drivers to be delivered to the school. Your mail will be replied to after discussion with the teachers concerned.
  • 4If the matter is confidential, please mark the letter CONFIDENTIAL.
  • 5Mail queries regarding your ward's work or any other concern you may like to discuss with the class teacher, co-ordinators or principal may be addressed to the Management.
  • 6Whenever money or cheque is sent to school through your ward, kindly put the same in an envelope with your child's name, class/secition, admission number and your mobile number on itl. The same should be deposited with the Class Teacher on the sam e day.
  • 7Kindly inform the school immediately in case of any change of address, phone numbers and bus route (for those coming to school by bus).
  • 8Check you ward's school diary every day to see what homework assignments have been set for the day, so that you can check that your child has completed it. Teachers' Remarks in the school diary should be seen and counter signed regularly by parents.
  • 9Ifyour child is late, fill in the Late Attendance Record.
  • 10If your child is absent due to illness, or some other unplanned event, please fill out the Illness/Unplanned Absence form in the school diary for when the child return to school.
  • 11Go through the child's exercise books on a regular basis. Inform the management if the copies are not duly corrected.
  • 12Check the school diary daily for any circular sent to you from school.
  • 13 Seek prior permission for taking a child away from school during a school day, or for trips during the school term. Children are not permitted to leaven the school premises without the permission of the management. Children are not allowed to be absent from school for social functions, this disrupts the child's learning/studies, and makes extra work for teachers. To seek permission for an absence from school, please fill out the form in this diary, 'Leave permission requests'.
  • 14 Take an appointment to come and meet with teachers or the management. Please Mobile/telephone or email pkmpublicschool@gmail.com to arrange an appointment. At the time of your appointment, please come straight to the office at the front of the school and do not go to any classrooms as this is distracting to children and teachers.
  • 15Inform the management if your child is too ill/unwell to come to school.
  • 16Ensure that children come to school daily in proper uniforms on all days.
  • 17 If the child uses the bus service, please ensure that the child uses the same bus daily and gets off the bus at the same destination (home) everyday. If the child will visit any other child's home, it is the parents' responsibility to bring the child. Children using the buses must follow the same routine daily. Please do not sent gifts to the teachers.
  • 18Do not ask for private tuition from teachers at this school. It is strictly forbidden for our teachers to provide private tuition to students of our school.
  • 19 Please attend parent-teacher meeting (PTMs) whenever you are called for these. You need to be informed of how your child is doing in school, and we need your support and your participation in our school community. PTMs are integral to the education of your child. They provide an Opportunity for parents to meet the class teacher and subject teacher of their children on a one-to-one basis.
